South end (Cedar to Prospect back to Forest) the water main has been completely installed, pressure testing happened today. next step is chlorination, sampling, final step connecting residents.
We have moved to the North end (Forest/Vinewood to Cedar) and installing the main there.
Good news — all of the water main work for the East Ravine Project is now complete! You’ve probably noticed that restoration work has already started around the neighborhood. The plan (weather permitting) is to grind all of the roadways within the work area on Monday, then inspect and prep the subgrade on Tuesday, possibly beginning the binder underlayer the same day. The final surface layer is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday. We’ll be paving the entire roadway width as we go, so please be patient and expect some temporary delays for access during each phase. The good news is that once each section is paved and accessible, you can drive on it right away — there will be no extended closures or long periods of inaccessibility. We’d also like to remind everyone that lawn and right-of-way restorations have been completed, but our team will recheck all areas in the spring to ensure everything has settled properly and is restored to the same condition — or better — to meet our residents’ satisfaction. Once paving is complete, we’ll move into final clean-up and finishing touches before officially wrapping up the project. Thanks so much for your continued patience and cooperation — we’re almost there!
