Formed in May 1964, the Justice-Willow Springs Water Commission ensures residents and businesses have reliable access to clean and safe drinking water. The Commission supplies water throughout its jurisdiction, responds to water main breaks, and helps customers manage their water use. We only operate on the revenue from our customers’ water bills, and we do not receive any local, county, state or federal funding.
What We Do:
Supply
The Justice-Willow Springs Water Commission pumps an average of 2.2 million gallons of water to residences and businesses each day.
Store
We maintain 5 million gallons of water in reserve, distributed across three tanks — including our recently refurbished elevated tank.
Repair
As part of our capital improvement program, we replace an average of 3000 feet (more than one quarter mile) of aging water main each year.
Innovate
Residential and commercial customers have smart meters to enable efficient monitoring, leak detection, and water conservation.
